MW100 Einsteck- und Rohrinstallation

Kategorie:MW100 Mikrowelle

Vergleich von Tank-Doppelstab und integrierter Rohrstruktur.

Define the measurement parameter

Depending on the medium and application model, MW100 can be evaluated for concentration, solids, density or moisture. Microwave response depends on composition, temperature and water state, so provide the target, range, reference method and sample composition instead of treating a series-level capability as a fixed specification for every model.

  • Liquid or slurry concentration/solids: state the concentration definition, particles and temperature range
  • Density: state the reference method, flow and whether stratification or bubbles occur
  • Moisture: state the basis moisture value, material form, particle size and conveying method

Tank insertion or integrated pipe

The insertion version is intended for tanks, vessels or equipment; place the two rods in representative medium and confirm their center position, insertion depth and coverage against the vessel drawing. The pipe version integrates the sensor into a process section; confirm full-pipe condition, diameter, velocity and isolation access.

  • Tank: avoid agitator blades, wall deposits, level swings and intermittent rod exposure
  • Pipe: check internal diameter, straight runs, flow direction, drainage and bypass maintenance
  • High-temperature, corrosive or hazardous service: confirm materials, limits, protection and certificates separately

Application calibration and system integration

Use representative samples covering the main concentration and temperature range to establish or validate the application model, while recording laboratory references. During commissioning, verify 4-20mA, RS485 Modbus, address, scaling and alarm status; judge acceptance from trend, repeatability and reference comparison together.

  • Use multiple operating points rather than a single sample
  • Align sampling time and location with the online measurement
  • Reconfirm model applicability after major composition or temperature changes

Häufige Fragen

Can an MW100 be commissioned without field calibration?

Complex media normally require representative samples and laboratory references to establish or validate the application model. The need for recalibration depends on medium stability, process changes and acceptance requirements.

Where should the two insertion rods be placed?

Place them where the medium is continuously covering a representative region, away from agitators, wall deposits, bubbles and level changes that could expose the rods. Confirm the final location against the equipment drawing.
